CUP WINNERS! NEW INN, NEW INN, NEW INN!

After a tense 90+ minutes of play (regular time plus extra time) the New Inn Under 14s have secured the Torfaen U14s Cup with a 5-4 win over Croesyceiliog AFC!

First Half

Going 1-0 up early on, New Inn were in the driving seat until an equaliser half way through the first half. New Inn took the lead for a second time with Croesy equalising again with only a few minutes remaining of the first half.

Second Half

In a turn of events, Croesy took the lead for the first time taking the score to 3-2 to

Croesy only for New Inn to bring the score back to 3-3 with only minutes to go in regulation time, forcing the game to extra time!

Extra Time

It was an agonising 11 minutes before New Inn broke away with another goal, ending the first half of extra time in the lead at 4-3!

But Croesy weren't done yet, equalising early in the first half of extra time - 4 a piece!

In one final push, New Inn scored again with what would be the winning goal!!
