Newport County Day (27th April 2019)
It's almost that time of year again, the season is winding up as we're all getting ready to put those nets away for a few months. The Newport County Day is looking to be another successful year, thanks again to Sharron Giles for organising. We're sending our largest ever amount of junior players down to the exiles this year, thanks to the great success of all age groups in recruiting and developing the young players.
Match Abandoned = Dads v Kids
Having their game abandoned today due to stolen goals at Cwmffrwdoer, the 9s made use of the morning by annihilating their parents at the training ground, Little Mill Half time score was 6-2 to the juniors, with Matt the groundsman requiring his inhaler after 3 minutes. The hoodies and jackets came off (the dads) for the second half where the teams were mixed up a little, to save the dads from embarrassment... More to follow
